reflections from a hike through Honda Valley Park last week:
There was a heavenly sunlight that shined through the coast live oaks and flooded the luscious ravine below. The air was saturated with a fresh scent of eucalyptus and salt; a scent that has proven to be very nostalgic for me. Despite the hike being snuggled up between some hilly neighborhoods, it was completely quiet. We might as well have been deep in the middle of a giant forest with the exception of a few houses here and there that were visible through the foliage.
We were in awe with all of the little details around us as if we were kids frolicking in a field.
Everything was just perfect.
