This is a love letter to our home on F Street (which we are moving out of today) that opened up endless worlds of creation, identity, and acceptance for me. This is the place that marks numerous milestones for my little family and me: marriage, new career, the birth of foto-notes, etc. The past 18 months in this cozy home/neighborhood have proven to be a turning point in the type of work I enjoy making and the ways in which I approach photography, writing, and life in general.
The backyard hardly got boring to photograph and the neighborhood only got more and more interesting with each walk.

Beautiful photos. There is a light touch of Melancholy in all of them. Great work!
